Where can we have our ceremony?

 

The sky is the limit when it comes to your ceremony location.  If you live in the area or know someone who does, do you have a picturesque backyard? Our Area has many Lakes or Parks that will accommodate your ceremony.   If you can dream it, we will do our best to fulfill it!

 Please be aware that some beaches and parks require a reservation and fee for a permit and parking may be limited and/or also have a fee, which is your responsibility.  

 

 

Can you explain the fees?

 

For each person that is signing the document, there is a fee for notarization of $10 for each person.  Travel Fee of $2 a mile is charge from wherever we are located when you call.  If we are in Arcadia at the time, you ARE NOT being charge mileage from there.  You will be charged from our Home Base in Lake Placid.  Let's say the mileage is 5 miles.  You will be charged $10 travel fee.  Example:  One person Signing document and 5 Miles to your location.  Total $20

Another Example: We are in Sebring already, you call and need us in Sebring.  We WILL NOT charge you mileage from Lake Placid.  We will charge you from wherever we are located when you call.  You may be 1 mile away from us at the time.  Your travel charge will be $2.

Any appointments made for future days will be charge travel fee from our Home Base in Lake Placid.

Do you emboss the document?

 

It is no longer necessary to emboss the Notary Seal on your document.  With the passing of the Uniform Power of Attorney Act in 2011, photocopies are permitted to be used in place of the original.  Embossing does not photocopy well, so every Florida Notary is required to use a Ink Stamp Notary Seal.  "The use of a Notary stamp is required in Florida. Some Notaries use an embosser in addition to their Notary stamps for extra fraud protection, but it cannot be used as the sole official seal of a Florida Notary Public."
